About The Band
Damn Animal, the 2023 Irish Harp Battle of the Bands winner, was established in March 2022 and is known for its lively music that gets audiences up and dancing, often prompting the response, “I forgot I love that song!” The band’s lead vocalist is Kelly Roulston, who performs solo under the stage name Kayar.
Originally from Toronto, Kayar showcases his talent throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Niagara, consistently delivering high-energy performances that leave audiences thoroughly entertained.

Fun Fact: Kelly has been playing guitar for over 35 years. Knows a guy that took lessons, would rather be called an Entertainer than a Singer – also streams his music on Twitch. Original album in the works.
