Grass Mud Horse
About The Band
Grass Mud Horse, led by multi-instrumentalist Chris Barry, combines punk intensity with traditional Celtic folk. Their performances are charged with energy, seamlessly blending punk intensity with traditional Celtic folk. Remarkably, they capture the same electrifying essence in the studio, channeling their spontaneity and instinct.
Now based in Canada with an international lineup, the band is working on their upcoming album, “Canuck Yourself,” which leans toward folk music, while maintaining the band’s raw, authentic edge. Influenced by The Clash, The Pogues, and The Dubliners, Grass Mud Horse is rapidly gaining recognition and establishing itself as a formidable presence in the Celtic punk genre.
