Band of Thieves | New Band

About The Band
Some bands are formed. This one was stolen.
Band of Thieves brings together players from two of Hamilton’s favourite Irish acts — Ferguson Young, Corktown’s resident fiddle-and-guitar folk-rock outfit, and Innisfree, the trad acoustic trio known for weaving Celtic melodies with global flair. Down-picking guitar licks and rip-roaring fiddle solos meet accordion-driven harmony and old-tyme storytelling, adding up to a sound built for a room that loves both the quiet ballads and the ones that get the floor stomping.
This is the debut performance for Band of Thieves, and there’s only one place it could happen first: The Irish Harp Pub. Come early, grab a seat, and be part of the very first crowd to hear it.
Band of Thieves

Ferguson Young Band
Hamilton’s favourite East Coast band, formed in 2011 by fiddle player Liam McGlashon. A regular fixture on the Hamilton music scene, Ferguson Young holds a residency at the legendary Corktown Irish Pub — the intersection the band is named after. Known for down-picking guitar licks, rip-roaring fiddle solos, and unique vocal harmonies, they bring a breathtaking brand of folk rock to every show.

Innisfree
A trad acoustic trio fusing the soulful essence of Irish folk traditions with vibrant global influences. Featuring accordion, guitar, and fiddle, Innisfree delivers intricate harmonies, rhythmic energy, and emotive storytelling in every performance — Celtic melodies enriched with international flair, for a sound that’s both timeless and fresh.
