Event Details
Our annual fall tradition returns. Shaw and Stratford Festival veteran Lezlie Wade brings a rendition of Washington Irving’s classic ghost story to life, right here at the Harp.
First published in 1820, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is part comedy, part ghost story, and has been a Halloween staple ever since, inspiring everything from Disney cartoons to Tim Burton. Hearing it read aloud in a cozy pub on an October night is how it’s meant to be enjoyed.
The reading runs 90 minutes with a short intermission at the halfway point. Grab a pint, get cozy, and keep an eye on the door.
