Cupid’s arrow isn’t always as direct as it can be. An evening of anecdotal love stories about some romantic hits, misses and mistakes.
Lezlie Wade is an award-winning director and writer with 8 seasons at the Stratford Festival, 2 seasons at Shaw and an assistant director credit for the Broadway production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Her plays have been seen at theatres across Canada and the US. She is the winner of the International NY Film award, two-time finalist for the Stiles and Drewe Best New Song Prize in the UK., and the Tom Hendry award for best new musical.
Three of her musicals, (Robin Hood, Sticky Fingers and Nobody’s Children) were produced by local theatre Yellow Door Theatre Project. She has worked with such actors as Mary Walsh, Sheila McCarthy, Sam Bee, Christopher Plummer, Margo Kidder and Tatiana Maslany.
