February is Heart & Stroke Month! Join us in raising awareness and supporting cardiovascular health. Throughout the month, customers can make a difference by simply adding $2 to their tab to donate towards heart and stroke research and prevention programs. Together, let’s make every heartbeat count!
For more than 60 years, Heart & Stroke has been dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Our work has saved thousands of lives and improved the lives of millions of others. You’ll probably run into someone today who is alive and well thanks to the countless Canadians who have supported our cause with their time and donations.
Our progress is real. The death rate from heart disease and stroke has declined more than 75% over the past six decades.

The Impact of Each $1 Donation
- 62.2 cents goes towards funding life-saving research, advocacy, and health promotion
- 34.6 cents is invested in fundraising and engaging Canadians in healthy activities
- 3.2 cents goes to administrative costs
