Our 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands is Starting in January! The Irish Harp Pub is looking for local bands/musicians who want to battle it out and showcase their talents. We typically host 2-3 piece bands however larger groups are welcome to apply.

We will be choosing some of Niagara’s best bands to go head-to-head for a Grand Prize of $1000 and a contract to play at The Irish Harp for the upcoming season.

Each band will play a 1-hour set with 3 bands per night. We will have our veteran musicians here at The Irish Harp judging the competition. They will be live streaming on Facebook for our followers to help vote for the winner. The winning band each night will advance to the finals where they will go head-to-head for the Grand Prize and the title of “The Irish Harp Pub’s 2024 Battle of the Bands Champion”

There will be many other prizes and a lot of exposure for all participating bands including 97.7 HITZ FM, local and regional newspapers, and our entire dedicated fanbase through our website, social media accounts, and Inner Circle Newsletter.

Bands that play Irish, Celtic, East Coast, Folk, Alternative, and/or Classic Rock will be the best fit for our audience. Covers of Great Big Sea, Mumford & Sons, Dropkick Murphys, Lumineers, Tragically Hip, etc are some of the bands our in-house musicians cover frequently.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy

We Are Now Accepting Band Applications For This Event. Apply Now by sending us an email about your band and be sure to include some sample music or videos to generalmanager@theirishharppub.com. This is a free admission event and space is limited. Food & drink is available at regular menu pricing. Taxes extra – gratuities not included.

If you have to cancel your reservation for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible so we can open the space up to our waitlist.
