Being Checked Up On By Our Kids
My wife and I go to NOTL every year to see a play. On one of our trips we came across The Irish Harp and decided to go in for dinner and a beer.
The place was bustling and we were enjoying ourselves so much that we lost track of time. Our daughters called because we are “early birds” and for us to be out past 10:00pm was not considered the norm. They were concerned because we were out past our “curfew” – Checking up on us and telling us to drive carefully and not do anything silly. We laughed as they became the parents and we were the “kids” in this instance.
We’ve been back several times since that first visit and it’s easy to lose track of time in this delightful and popular NOTL landmark.
