My husband and I moved to NOTL 20 years ago and fell in love with the Old Town…but there was just something missing. One fine evening we sauntered out for a pint and low and behold, there it was, the restoration of the abandoned old restaurant was complete and the Irish Harp was playing our song.

We walked in and a large voice from across the room shouted “Hello folks, come on in”, it was the owner Trevor. He introduced himself and we quickly fell into a conversation for quite some time. The beer was cold, and the music was hopping! We fell in love with the atmosphere and the staff.

Later on down the road and right up until today we became great friends with several bar staff and servers who just cater to us with each visit. We’ve enjoyed many a pint with friends at the Harp, and quite possibly the craziest St. Patrick’s Day I have ever experienced…but that’s another story!
